Bath City FC, nicknamed The Romans, is a semi-professional English football club founded a few years later than the rugby in 1889. Back then it was known as Bath AFC and changed its name to Bath Railway in 1902 before settling on its current moniker. The club’s history is entirely in non-league football and Bath City FC currently plays in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football. The side, currently managed by Gary Owers, play their home games at Twerton Park, Twerton. In May 2017, Bath City FC officially became a community-owned football club and a recent partnership with Bath Ales, means that visitors can now indulge in a pint of Gem before the match or at half time. You can catch up with fixtures and results via their website.
