Pulteney Junior Suite

History & grandeur

Experience vast sash windows, four-poster beds and beautiful interiors from Martin Hulbert Design

Exceptional views

It’s really quite rare for hotel bedrooms to have the sort of scale and proportion as our Pulteney Junior Suites. Vast sash windows allow you to make the most of the quite exceptional views of Great Pulteney Street, while lofty ceiling heights only add to the feeling of grandeur.

Martin Hulbert Design wanted to create schemes which would sit beautifully within the existing historic framework of the building, with the pale chalky colours being inspired by the stripped-backed walls, and see-through plexiglass furniture maintaining the sense of light and space.

A contemporary four-poster bed and curious collections add to the feeling of drama, while also being connected with the history of our world heritage city. You’ll also find a seating area in which to relax and feature art on the walls.

Beautiful big mirrors, marble-topped washstands with bespoke hand basins, free-standing baths and artisanal 100 Acres Apothecary body and skincare products are the mainstay of our spacious bathrooms, while feature lighting throughout the suite lets you tailor the ambience to your mood.
